Founded in the spring of 1997 in Ramsey, Minnesota, Heritage Millwork Inc. (HMI) has grown into a leading distributor of mouldings, millwork, interior and exterior doors, and stair parts throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, and Iowa. Serving more than 450 dealers, we’ve built our reputation on quality, reliability, and the ability to adapt to the ever-changing needs of our industry.

What began with just a few interior door designs in two wood species has evolved into a selection of more than 25 designs in nine species, along with unlimited special-order options. Our inventory also includes over 30 moulding profiles in seven species (including MDF), a wide range of stair parts, and a continually expanding line of exterior entry doors designed for curb appeal, performance, and security.

In 2017, we opened Traditions Finishing Inc. (TFI), our state-of-the-art pre-finishing facility, offering ready-to-install products in a variety of colors and finishes—including custom color matching.

In August 2024, we broke ground on our new 110,000-square-foot facility, completed in June 2025. This investment in our future includes advanced equipment such as the Barbaric door picking system, Superfici finishing line, and a new KVAL interior door line. Now, with pre-finishing and production under one roof, we can deliver faster, more efficient service on every millwork order.
